OOOh what a feeling...

What a feeling... I'm dancing, not on the ceiling, but on clean floors. Today, I came home from work to a husband who had vacuumed, swept, mopped, and done all the laundry for me. What an exhilarating feeling. I'm telling you, I have such an awesome husband. Thank You Lord for him. I guess You knew what You were doing when You showed him too me so long ago. I still remember it like yesterday (my cake stalking days). I at 17 wanted to marry Hubby (30) so badly. I chased him around work (he was my manager) with cakes and pies and such. Lord, in Your time and not mine... what 30 year old man would marry a 17 year old girl-- You brought us together. You did give me that glimpse of my future then though! I love hind-sight. Seeing Your providence in my life is so cool!

  1. Isn't God good. What we think our destiny is is not always what God's destiny is for us. I never thought that you would end up with Ernie when you came home and told us that you wanted to marry him. And I NEVER thought that I would be an army wife. God has shown me a few reversals of destiny in the past few weeks by doing my Bible study. At the time you don't see how things fit together or even know why things happen the way they do but God does and I thank God that He is in control not me. I never knew why He sent us here to Fort Polk I just knew that it had to be better than El Paso BUT I know now that He has put us here for growth in Him and He gave me great friends to become close with to help with deployment as well as learning and growing spiritually. I just want to thank God for being in control. I have a great husband too and I believe that God helped us find each other and I would not change anything.
