God's story for my life reads like a novel written in streams of conscience sometimes. Even so, it all seems to come together to make a beautiful story. I love to go back and put all of the mess together and see how God's providence prevails in my story. Just blogging for Jesus!
I hope you are not too much into halloween. I am afraid it is a celebration for the devil.

We do not celebraqte Halloween. We celebrate fun. It is just a fun time to dress up (among all the other times the girls dress up)and have fun with friends. I grew up not celebrating it too. We always had an alternative fall festival or hootenany at the church. This was for a dress up birthday party of Ollie's and our trunks of treats at church. I totally agree with you on the origins of Halloween (and all of the evil costumes out there.)
ReplyDeleteI remember one year, I was Lydia (the seller of purple and won a unique costume contest and my brother was John the Baptist. We were often Bible characters as kids. I guess this could be a witnessing tool. Maybe next year our family can go to trunks of treats as David and his sheep or the patriarchs...
Did you see the link about the origins of halloween that i posted on facebook? It was a repost of an email a good friend sent to me, and i was pretty fascinated by it.
