I see God!

God is so good. I must say-- well, being very illusive still, but I still have to sing the praises of my God and His faithfulness. If you read my recent post (apparently controversial to some) titled, "Confessions of a sinner", then you will be as amazed as I am at this.

I will recap really quickly just in case. God convicted an area in my life that I had not given over completely in trust to Him. I always sang the song of trust, yet I never fully put my trust in God and gave to Him sacrificially of my first fruits financially. Tithes-- this is what I am talking about. Not the demanded 10% of the Law, but the giving out of complete trust and acknowledgement of His owning it all anyway without fear of "what ifs". The week of this post I changed it all up and set up the "payee" to my church on the computer. Before I even had the chance of posting a second check, I was given hope totally out of the blue of a second income-- steady and one where I could work my passion and not sacrifice my time with my children at home. The "hope" only, because the job was not a set in stone position, yet. I have now found out the job is a sure thing. We will now have the added income we need to cut up credit cards and start a small savings stash for the "fall back" money.

The amazing fact is that God has been working on me for a couple of years now, promising us that our finances would change in a major way. All I had to do was trust Him. Not just at face value-- He is trust worthy that way, but He wanted me to prove my trust-- to actually put my trust into action. You know the phrase, "You live what you believe"? Well, if I truly trusted Him it was time to start living it and to put my money where my mouth was. There hadn't even been time for the check to clear when I got a phone call out of the blue about a meeting during which this job was proposed.

I can't wait to tell you about the job, but it is still in the works, but it is a sure thing. I will be able to work from home some and from "the office" some as well. God is so good. Now, I pray that He will guide me in my work as service to Him first and foremost. In all I do I want to bring Him glory. So pray for me in my preparation that I may be qualified to take this job on, that I may be successful in leading (I am a natural born follower!!!!), and most of all thank God with me for His faithfulness and timing. He knows just when to move so we can see Him and His glory without being undone. You know like Moses was able to see His back? Well, He moves so we can see His back too. We just have to be following Him to see it!
