Uninspired

The whole ordeal with my blog and the rude "intruders" has left me feeling quite uninspired. I have for what, 9 months now, poured out my thoughts with ease and with total trust that even though there are human readers on here that my God also reads my thoughts and prayers and enjoys reading His story of my life. And now what, I feel like someone has taken away from me what the whole point of my blog has been, to give God the glory for all the things He has done. It is like Satan saw my heart (can he do that?) and my motives and used a few individuals who thrive and live for a good argument to come here and crash my glory reveling and overthrow the glory and turn it into a bickering session. I just really feel smacked down to be honest with you all. They would be so pleased with themselves. I think Satan would be somewhat disappointed because I am not going to stop giving God the glory. He may have been able to use these "Christians" to do his bidding, but he did not stop me. He may have set me back a few steps and hurt my feelings, but my God is bigger than him. I feel like God even stopped Satan from using those individuals by taking away their temptation. This is the door out of the bondage; I just hope no pray they take that escape. 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. I have stripped my blog of most personal details, and have hidden most of my information; I have also made it to where my blog will not be found through a Google search.

I love that verse above. Isn't it comforting that we all are tempted by the same things? What I mean is that we all have other people with whom we can confide and keep as accountability partners-- they experience the same temptations we do. There is no need in hiding behind your reputation and being afraid to share your trials with others. Not one of us is without sin or temptation. Even Jesus experienced these same temptations. He was God so He was able to withstand them, but He was also man so He knows just how hard it is to do that. Now He is our advocate in front of God's throne. He knows what it is like, as do your brothers and sisters. Because of this, God will not allow Satan to tempt us beyond what we are able to turn away from. He always provides a door out. Imagine how much more obvious the door will be when you pray and ask for a door out. Have you ever felt trapped in a sin or sinful circumstance or just a tempting situation? I have and I know that as soon as I ask for a way out, I get it. The door is opened wide. This is His promise. God NEVER fails on His promises to us. NEVER!

Have you ever felt trapped?
What door did God offer as a way out? Did you take it?

Think about it and next time you fall into temptation just remember that God has promised a way out. Just be sure to take it before it closes.

  1. i don't think satan can read our hearts. i won't give him credit for that much power. i do think he can see and hear and observe our lives, and apply those observations to manipulate us. he has a LOT of experience with how humans react!

  2. Thanks Tana! I love that even though he knows how we usually react, we have the Holy Spirit to help us not react when non-reaction is the best way. If only I would listen more often!
